The Story
My mom, Seema, has been crocheting for as long as I can remember.
As a South Asian stay-at-home mom, she spent decades creating beautiful bags and gifts by hand for our family. So much of her time was devoted to raising us — crochet became her quiet form of creativity, a way to express herself through something made with love.
Growing up, I watched her transform simple strands of yarn into pieces that became part of our everyday lives. Looking back, I realize those bags carried more than our belongings. They carried her care, her patience, and the countless unseen sacrifices that mothers make.
That's why I created See-ma.
The name is a tribute to my mom. But it also carries another meaning that has always lived in my heart:
See, Ma… I did this for you.

See-ma is my way of giving back to the woman who spent her life giving to everyone else. It's a celebration of mothers everywhere — the women whose work happens behind the scenes, whose creativity is set aside for their families, and whose love is stitched into the little things they make every day.
Every See-ma bag is handcrafted by my mom, one stitch at a time. No factories. No mass production. No guaranteed restocks. Each piece is made by one pair of hands, at a pace that honors craftsmanship over quantity.
When you carry a See-ma bag, you're carrying a story of a mother, a daughter, and the love that inspired this house.
Thank you for helping me celebrate her.
